Thanks for last post (#40). I did get caught up in the great qualities of that battery regardless of the price. And the additional posts you listed compelled me to purchase the Polarwire booster cables.
Now I'm even looking at that Harbor Freight battery tester. Wow, it easy to spend money on this forum.

So the dealership would not warranty my battery today. They stated that they left the lights on for 1/2 hr and the voltage was still in the acceptable range. The results of the battery report are below. Naturally I was hoping to get a new battery today, I priced a 27f from the dealer and it was 150$ with battery return. Still considering a new battery, either from the dealer, or from walmart. Thoughts?
    1. Battery report
    2. Rated CCA 710
    3. Measured CCA 591
    4. Voltage 12.34v
    5. State of charge: 62% ? (Chart shows to be between 50-75%
    6. State of health: High

IMHO their report shows the battery tested just OK¹, not "good" as they claim. It is not yet toast but the CCA is down considerably which means the internal resistance is up--this is about the same as what prompted me to get a new one last week. It's time to think about a new battery before you are left stranded. That could be 3-4 months or 3-4 days; so the real question is "Do you feel lucky today?"

Is there some reason you specifically want a 27F? The Everlast Maxx from Walmart is rated 750 CCA, typically 27Fs are not that much higher rated at 810 to 825...

    -------------------------------------
¹ - On my scale of overall quality/acceptability of stuff OK is just one step above barely adequate; two or three steps below good.

I decided to stay with a 27f because I am still under warranty and don't want any reason for the dealer to screw me, as it were. Was hoping to save a few bucks from Costco and enjoy thier good return policy, they carry interstate batteries exclusively now, but, they don't carry the 27f. The route im taking now is I'm going to go to the local interstate dealer and pick one up. The service manager hinted this was my best way to go, even though I'm sure he is told to push the OEM battery, which I priced at 150$ from the parts dept while at the dealer.

12.34V is half charged. 12.60 or > is fully charged. You likely drove your vehicle for a bit before arriving at the dealership. If it read 12.34V for them, I'd bet it was less after the truck sat idle overnight.

Came used with brush guard, winch and bed cover.
I don't know about his, but mine says—nothing. I can't find any "official" information about what battery I should get.

Here's the only thing the manual says:
