Hey guys I'm trying to choose a kit and after reading a lot of threads I still feel like I need help.

I don't want anything crazy, I was told if I did 2" up front I shouldn't have to worry about other upgrades or mods up front.

I was looking at dakars for the rear. I have an are z series topper, and eventually a front runner rack. I read you should take out a leaf if it's stock load to 300 lbs, if I had just a topper will running it without removing a leaf be a bad ride when my bed is mostly empty? I typically have 50 lbs of stuff in back plus the topper of course and eventually a rack which will always be on of course.

So I was recommended the billstein 6112 which point me to this

    Bilstein 6112 Strut & Spring + 5160 Res Set 05-15 Tacoma 0.5-2.75" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BUJLNN2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_DLK8ybWZ8QR0N

So do I NEED those rear reservoirs? I've seen some kits without them.

Or am I better off getting this since dakars come with too?

My plan several years from now is a pelfrybilt bumper and eventually a winch too, but for 3+ years I'm sure I'll just be using my stock bumper.

So if I got the 6112s and dakars or the ARB 2" kit with dakars is that all I need to install?

I always hear people talk about upper control arms but I'm under the impression I don't need to worry about that if I stay at 2" max.

The reservoirs are part of the 5160 shocks. Without reservoirs, then I think you are wanting Bilstein 5100 series, but the 6112/5160 combo is a beefier (and IMO better) setup.

I have new UCAs but I bought because I went up in tire size...for 2" lift, I don't think you need new UCAs.

I was gonna get 32" tires, would I need UCAs for that? Pretty sure stock is 31.5".
