Maybe try another autoparts store. Check advanced auto, checkers, pep boys etc...

k im really hoping this is what it is... cuz last week i took it in to the dealership cuz they didnt add the additive so it made the clutch slip... they changed the fluid then i was having a leak cuz they cracked the gasket. so they changed the gasket and said wait 1000 miles for the vibration to go away. its been bout 400 miles now and every turn i do going slow the whole truck shakes!! does anyone know if the LSD can throw a code for the CEL?

From my understanding the CEL codes are usually emissions related. O2 sensors, MAF, gas cap etc...

It could be anything. I would unhook the neg battery cable and let it sit for a while to reset and plug it back in. It may have been something that fell slightly out of spec once. That should clear the code, then you'll just have to see if the code comes back. If it does, you'll have to get it checked out and cleared before you can clear emmissions in CA.

I dont think the LSD is going to throw a code. When I had those problems with my diff, I took it to the dealer, they changed the fluid and the noises and vibrations were gone Immediately. I think your dealer may be doing something wrong. If you are under warranty, they should check the light for free.
