yupp 2 12s will take up alot of room depending on how you make the box... if you run 1 12 thats perfect.. itll fit right behind your seat and you can mouth the amp right onto the box if you want to or somewhere else your preference

This is the BOSS low-profile sub. It fits perfectly under the seat of my '08 (check the measurements) and it's 1200 watts. It sounds absolutely AMAZING, and for the price (around 150 is what I got mine for) it's unbeatable. I can't imagine getting a second one for under the passenger seat, but that would be 100% possible.....

They sell a box for 2 8" subs for that exact application on ebay. I'd just mount the amp under the drivers seat, that's what i did.

ha thanks for all the feedback guys, yeah 2 12 inch subs taking up the whole back seat isn't really what I was thinking. But this seems like something I would be interested in. Would I need to buy anything else with this?

Replaced chrome badges with Sockmonkey black badges, painted billet grill black, K&N cold air intake, my corner light turn signal circuit, Speedfreek traction bars, RAAMaudio BXT/Ensolite, Stereo: Kenwood KIV-701 USB/Bluetooth deck, 10" Pioneer shallow sub behind the rear seat, Infinity 6822cf 6x8 front and rear doors, Fosgate P400-2 (sub), US Acoustics USX-4065 (four main speakers)
For the double cabs, you have to decide if you are willing to give up the passenger room in the back seat. I often have four people in my truck (going out to lunch at work) so I really wanted to keep the seating back there and shove the sub in the tiny area behind the rear seat. It is also nice to keep the sub out of site. I put the amplifiers are under the seats. I had three subs in my 2003 double cab before I found what I liked.

    1. Supercrewsound dual 8” box
    http://supercrewsound.com/commerce/product.jsp?prodId=78&catId=69
The 8" Kicker I put in there didn't give me the bass I wanted. The 8" Pioneer that fits might have done better, but this box takes up just about all the room behind the rear seat leaving no storage.

    2. 12” Kenwood “shallow” sub sitting behind my driver’s seat in a box from Parts Express
It gave me the bass I was looking for, but I quickly grew tired of trying to move it when I had four people (shoved it between people in the back seat).

    3. Caraudiofactory box for up to a 10” sub

The only 10" sub that would fit in the Caraudiofactory box and have a recommended box volume close to the volume of the box was a 10” Pioneer shallow mount. It also took some Dremel tool work to get it to fit. You can read my review of the box on their website. The setup really comes alive when you use some bass boost to bring up the low end. The small sealed box takes some power to drive it. I have a used Fosgate P400-2 driving it. Sounds great (considering it is such a small box) and my truck looks stock.
