    Is it possible to get the bearing replaced and not need an alignment afterwards?

    Seems to go away in 4wd. Pretty certain it's the bearing.

    You shouldn't need to get a alignment after replacing the bearing.

    Nope, I don't think I need that much tire. I'm mostly commuting and towing with some occasional off road fun.

    I hear you--I have 265s I saved and another set mounted for when I get sick of the gas suck of the E-load 285s

    I know, I know, but I needed a half ton.

    I am in west boylston and work in southboro.. could meet anywhere in between if you want to borrow mine. I didn't notice a huge difference when I installed the ECGS bushing in my truck. Do yourself a favor when you push the end of the tool in put some fishingline on it so that incase you go too far it won't go into the diff. Once it is in place cut the line off and screw the threaded part in.

    No need for alignment

    Nice I just put on DuraTracs in 265/75/16. The extra inch of sidewall is nice.

    I have the same tires, over 60,000 miles on them so far. Great tire all around.

    You guys are the best. I'm amazed by how many of you step up to help others out here.

    @mach1man001 with the installation
    @replica9000 with the assistance, and he threw a sway bar relocate kit my way yesterday

    Today I have two people offer to loan me the bearing tool and Rebecca with the bearing itself.

    You guys rock. :cheers:

    I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    You only need to disconnect the UCA to remove the axle and do the bushing repair. No need to do an alignment at all
