    @scottalot @dan0mite there is also a ban on plastic grocery/store bags- and a 10 cent per bag fee if you want to use a paper bag.

    I seriously thought they were joking- but they were not!

    Leave it to CA to have a "dime-bag" fee.

    Here is another "tax"- we stopped at Costco for a big pack of bottled water. Completely forgot about "California Redemption Value"- 5 cents per bottle! o_O

    2.99 for a pack of 40 water bottles, plus another 2.00 for CRV!! :mad:

    Also, gas average 3.09/gallon or so. :eek:
