    Hi,

HELP: What would my travel and valving be for the 5125 rears on my setup? I have a 2010 Sport DC/LB 4x4. I just ordered some Goodyear Duratracs 265/70/17 with some revolver wheels. I placed an order for 5100 fronts. I will be recieving the rear TSB and then adding a extra AAL to make a total of (5 leaves). I haven't decided where to get my AAL but when I do, what will be the valving and travel be for the 5125 with those mods? Thanks for the help!

Just order the 5100s for your truck. We also have an AAL for the TSB springs.

    x2.. do the 5100s

if you want to go a lil more custom on your travel, then get some 5125s in 8.5" travel with "04" valving...

I was informed by a member here that if I have 5 leaves, with the 5100 rears would be very close to topping out. With the 5125 rears I would have more travel, which would be safer? Is that correct?

Ok maybe Im not being clear. I apologize this is all new to me and may not make sense.

have 2010 Sport 4x4 Tacoma Doublecab/Longbed. Tomorrow I'm getting the rear TSB done. Im ordering the 5100 front adjustable Bilstein Shocks (set a 2.5") along with the 5125 rear Bilstein Shock. The reason I'm getting the 5125 rear Bilstein is because I plan on also buying a Toytec AAL (for a total of 5 leaves on the truck). I forgot to mention that I also have the Goodyear Duratrac Wranglers in 265/70/17. I was told that if I get the 5100 rears that the shock will be pretty close to topping out if not already. So getting the 5125 rears would allow more travel room. This was told to me by a member in Tacomaworld.com. I was told there would be a slight rake too. So that's where I'm going with this, does this setup sound right? Thanks, I wanted to confirm before I buy the Toytec AAL for TSB rear.

You should be fine with the 5100's, you would just not get quite as much travel with the 5100's as you would with the 5125's. But if you want to get the 5125's you would want to go with the 9.24" in 255/70 valving. I have the 10.17" 5125's now but i am having problems with the shocks being to long, plus the TSB and AAL is not going to give you 10" of travel.

Also, if you really want to be sure your getting the correct length shock, get the TSB and AAL put in and done and keep your stock shocks on there, then jack your truck up and unbolt the stock shock allowing the leaf pack to flex. Measure the distance from shock mount to shock mount and use that to help decide which shock to get (make sure to put the tire on when measuring the droop because the added weight makes it go down a bit more)

    Very good advice.
My old setup was tsb leaf pack w/ToyTec aal.(1.5")
Shocks were the 5100's in the back.
    Tires 265-70/17 (still are)
I was topping out going over speed bumps.
    I'm now running the 5150's @ 10" of travel.:D
