FedEx sucks! Mine was supposed to be delivered today. But the notes say the barcode was damaged and now it's delayed until tomorrow. :censored:

FedEx damaged my IFS skid and sent it back to Mobtown. Joe immediately sent me another as soon as I let him know which part was damaged. That's customer service.

The replacement IFS was was supposed to be here yesterday but FedEx decided to hang onto it over in Hutchins, TX for 4 days. Supposedly it will deliver today.

Haha...I'm really hoping not. I had plans on installing last weekend and FedEx killed that.

Wow. At least mine they sent directly back. I was on vacation so I had the guy that works for me open the box so I could tell Joe exactly which skid was damaged. He had a new one in route before the damaged one got back to him.

So what's with the four bolt holes on the trans skid? I ended up using the bottom set so the skid plate was a little higher.

T case and trans done though. Looking good! Now to wait for FedEx on the front. :annoyed:

The set of holes that makes the skid lower is for if you don't have the exhaust reroute. The ones that are higher are for if you do have the reroute.

I know this thread is dead now but I got mine all finished up. Super easy install (got it done by myself wimps :hattip:). Looks great. I usually skip powerboat, but I'm glad I didn't this time. Much better than I thought.

Not that this means much, but my dad looked them over and was impressed with the craftsmanship.

I bought a set of skids from Mob Town before Joe upgraded his design. I contacted Joe and ask if he would sell me the pieces to upgrade my old style to the reinforced style. He said sure. I took off the IFS skid and mid skid today to start the upgrade. Here the mid skid with the pieces in place.

    IMG_2746.jpg
I used a small table saw to notch the pieces.

    .IMG_2742.jpg
I will have it welded Monday.

If someone still has their IFS skid sitting on the floor--or Joe who I've bugged way too much already, can you confirm or correct these measurements for the two middle holes on the IFS skid. The picture is taken from the back looking forward, and I measured from the right. From the inside of the lip to the center of the right hole is 3-3/16 inches. To the center of the left hole is 17-13/16 inches from the lip or 14-5/8 inches between the holes center to center. And the centers of the holes are 1-3/8 inches from the hard crease line where the front is bent up.

    IMG_2749.jpg

Lastly, How much does the middle rescessed bolt cups stick out above the skid?

IMG_2629.jpg Real quick question for you guys. Using swaybar relocate for extended king shocks which is causing the sway bar to contact the middle reinforcement bracket. I'm going to drop the skid and see if I can ditch the relocate plates for sway. But in the event that I can't. Will a grinder do the trick to notch out some of the steal?
