Rough Country 2" spacers

Looking at getting a pair of these for a '17SR. Is this going to even things out, or will it push the front higher than the rear?

 

Looking to doing the same thing to my 2015 TRD Sport

 

Everyone knows spacers are the coolest.

 

Generally speaking you're not going to get a real great response around here for spacers and especially Rough Country.

You'll be back in here complaining about how shitty the ride is with spacers.

If you want to know how much lift you need to level you can try measuring from center of your wheel to the bottom of the fender in front and then the rear. See what the difference is... I think mine was about 1 or 1.5"

I think 2" up front is going to put you NOSE HIGH.

 

And this is why it's best to ask before doing anything haha. Any recommendations on what to do? I've had the truck since September and you can tell everything has kind of settled in and I'd like the front a little higher.

 

Depends on your budget but I'd recommend calling Dan or Stephen @ Wheelers Offroad they can give you some great information, explain options and they're easy to work with, ship quickly and take good care of customers. Another place to check is Low Range Off Road, or HeadStrong Offroad once they are back in the office. Marie at Headstrong is known for giving a lot of information too and taking care of customers however she's out until May as they're relocating or something.... Looks like replacing the stock strut with something like the Bilstein 5100's (adjustable height) is your best bet. This will not negatively effect your suspension travel plus its an upgrade to the ride quality over the stock shock component.

 

Well if you preload the stock springs it actually might not be an upgrade over stock suspension. It's going to cause it to ride a little stiffer but probably still better than spacers.

So from what I am gathering, I'd be best off to go with the 5100's and some new coils? That will give me the height I want up front, as well as not ruin my ride since I spend a ton of time on the highway
