I've finally found the reason why I need a swing out tire rack and jerry can holder.

Keep bourbon in the freezer. It won't freeze, but it does get damn cold that way. When "going mobile", keep it in a cooler, packed in ice.

My complaint about ice IN bourbon is it melts and waters down the "product". Most ice made with "city water" has a bit of chlorine in it, which really contaminates the bourbon. My "discerning taste buds" just can't deal with that.:proposetoast:

Not a whiskey/bourbon guy, or at least I'm no connisseur. Used to drink it from the bottle in high school, switched to beer and that's been working pretty good for me ever since lol. When I do drink it it's mixed or iced. My brother @Overture is the bourbon guy.

Beer? I thought you drank Corona? I'll get you some REAL beer one of these days!

Back in the day, we drank Little Kings by the truck load. That was "case-a-day" days.... (Had a cousin that managed a distributor of Kings...Got it cheap!) I'd drink Wild Turkey 101 or Chevas Regal Scotch and chase it with little kings. You talk about your major buzz! Quit drinking completely for about 10 years. My cars and trucks developed an allergy to alcohol. They'd end up getting all sorts of dents every time I'd drink. Now it's just occasionally, but I still like my Bourbon. Favorites are still the Wild Turkey or else Elijah Craig small batch. As far as beer, I like dark beers, something with character, and cannot see the point in "lite beer".

Through my job, I've got to meet 3 of the most famous bourbon "Master Distillers" in the business. (Bill Samuels-Makers Mark, Booker Noe-Jim Beam, and Jimmy Russell-Wild Turkey) They promote bourbon education....How to drink it properly and know the difference between mediocre, average, and "the good stuff". Since then, I just don't care for bourbon that's cheaper than gasoline. ($2.29 a gallon stuff) Those who know me know how I tend to say what's on my mind.....You should be around me when I've had a few shots of bourbon.......The filters come off and no telling what I'll say next! Back in the Army days, that led to the occasional bar fight! Probably still wanted posters up with my picture on 'em in Lawton Oklahoma. A little more mellow these days....
