Yep people are super lazy and don't recognize the health benefit from a little daily exercise

I to will push my shopping cart back to the storage area and like you mentioned it all adds up in daily steps . I'm currently at 4764 steps and still have to do my 3 mile walk today

I've learned from the VA MOVE program is to use a smaller dinner plate like a 8" plate . This way your mind thinks you're full with a smaller serving as the plate is covered in food . a normally larger plate you'll have spaces/ gaps between your food on your plate and this tends to make you not feel full but hungrier

Also learned to eat slower like 20 min and not keeping a utensil in your hand . Also leave at least at most 5-10 bites of food on your plate when finished eating

 

I'm at 9538 steps for today - already walked the pooches. I can do the small plate, but leaving food.... that's tough. doesn't seem like it should, but too many "clean your plate, think of the starving kids"

Thats what the MOVE coaches said and the problem is eating to quickly and all the food on the plate . This was mentally burned into us in boot camp , you know you've got 5 minutes to eat all your food the moment the drill instructor sits down . once he stands up you're done eating and you better have cleaned your plate

 

I drink muscle milk shakes for one meal. And always have a glass of water before you eatthats how I maintain my girlish figure

Ha that would never work with me.
My mind knows there is no where near enough food so I'm going back for seconds before I even start.
I eat flat rate. Like 5 min..
My plates are scraped and licked.
I have no idea how many steps I do. All I know is I wear sneakers out within months of buying.

I pretty good at hitting the cart stall at around 20 yards. I allow for wind drift and lot angle.
If someone gets in the way I yell INCOMING.....

 

I'm still full.
Had a grande plate full of food and didn't leave a dadgum thing.
And 2 stout beers.
Milk and yogurt in a few
