Probably should have stated it was his tail light that was broken my truck was not damaged

 

Had this happen in San Diego once. Was in Subway, heard a crunch outside, 2 girls run in suddenly saying someone's black truck just got backed in to by a white car, I run outside and look down the street in time to see a white car turn a corner. Nice little dent on my bumper, tweaked one side up about a 1/4". When I asked the girls what kind of car it was they were clueless. All they knew was it was a white car, despite standing there watching the entire thing.

 

Why it gotta be a white car.

 

I have not. I did find myself in 4th gear on the freeway yesterday and thought to myself, "This is what 4.88 lyfe is like in 6th...".

Also, I do most of my shopping while mildly intoxicated at night. Couldn't figure out what I needed on the ECGS website. Probably because I was mildly intoxicated. I'll call them tomorrow.

Except now he's going to take more out of the street with that wide camper out front of his house.

 

My pizza cutter friends will always have a special place in my heart. And when I someday buy an FJ60 to tool around town in, it will have pizza cutters on steelies.

I'll park 1/2 way in the sidewalk. It's what you're supposed to do with dirty fives.

Nibbler and a skateboard wheel makes fender trimming a possibility anywhere,anytime. Also, too cold to stand around. Had to do something.

Ok, this might sound dumb to some of you, but since I have never had a 4x4 before, I don't know.

I was being a Good Samaritan and hauling a guy who got stuck in some soupy mud. Not his fault, idiot in a white car ran him off the road. Anyway, only way I could get to him I needed to use the 4x4. Long story short, got him out. Forgot to take it out of 4wd and noticed that (at least the rears, but I think the fronts as well) the tires were skipping like I had lockers installed.

Now, dad liked to do stuff to his truck without telling anyone, so he may have installed lockers... Do the stock diff's in the 08 Taco (not TRD) lock when in 4wd?

 

No.

But in 4x4 both sides turn at the same speed on dry ground (when they aren't slipping) which causes the chirping noise.

Normally the outside tire turns faster, IIRC.

 

It was a great day despite losing 5-0.

 

So, you were there also? I saw the Toyota from my seat, but never made over to the left field area.

 

Yeah, I got there early for my Johnny Cueto bobblehead and I was able to check out that sweet TRD Pro.

 

Seems like all I ever find on CL is pizza cutters, donuts, or warn out too much.
