You also lose out on the big cubby pocket thing in the center console. MT Tacos get a super small one instead. Can't fit dick into it.

On the bright side we get 1 more cup holder there than ATs.

    none yet/none planned! It's perfect!
Are you sure about the hill assist? The brochure says hill assist is an AT thing. My wife's AT explorer actually rolls backwards.

Relatively sure HA comes with Sport MTs but it doesn't matter in our case since we have Pros.

No Hill Assist here. Feather that clutch son!

Don't always trust Toyota brochures. 4Runner trd pro Canadian brochure says it has kdss, which it most certainly does not. That's all I can help, lol

Bought a mustang after sitting down with the salesman ordered the seats in black leather with silver inserts. Spelled out perfectly in the brochure. When it got here it didn't have the inserts and so after talking to numerous people finally ended up talking to the regional manager and he pointed out at the bottom of the brochure "Ford has the right to revise anything in this manual due to errors" or some BS like that. Had been talking to a lawyer friend and he told me don't waste my time after that point.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
By hill assist they mean you don't get down hill assist control on the MT trucks which you get in the autos. You aren't missing much, it just helps you when you are going down extremely steep grades, using you abs system to keep you under control, and only works in 4 low and 1st gear. Your manual transmission will do a great job using engine breaking.

U just put the glasses in the cubby, not the case too. The inside of the cubby won't scratch the lenses.

By hill assist I believe he is talking about coming to a stop, releasing the brakes and the vehicle doesn't roll backward. Most modern MT vehicles have an autobrake (hill assist) to where your vehicle doesn't roll backward making it easier to take off on a steep incline.

I had it in my newer VW's and its nice but not that big of a deal either.

    Excellent choice on the MT.

Keep an ear out for your clutch pedal. Mine developed an annoying click/clack sound (for lack of a better description). Mechanic looked into it during the first service, some lube did the job.

    Congrats and enjoy your Protaco.
