I have the Droid, my brother has the iPhone. Both have their pluses and minuses. I would call it a draw except he keeps losing 3G in places (and regular service ) and I don't. Verizon's coverage makes the difference here.

As a verizon member I say the Droid is the best phone THEY have but the iphone is the ultimate phone with all of those apps. I saw one where you could arm you house security system with your iphone and another where you could open your garage door with the iphone, their really is no beating that. Next its gonna have a app to wipe your butt :D

i've used both and i'd go with the droid. the big advantage apple seems to have is the size of their app store though

I have a droid and i love it. I think its a matter of opinion. depending on what you want. My droid is rooted and heavily modified. I can do things a regular droid cant do. The results of a poll are not going to be accurate here. The Iphone has been around a lot longer and a lot more people have them, so naturally the people who have them are going to vote Iphone whether they have even ever seen a droid. I have owned the original Iphone and the Iphone 3g and prefer the openness of the droid and the Verizon network. But i suggest unless you are dead set on a physical keyboard that you wait for the Verizon version of the nexus one. it will be faster, slimmer and will probably have the sense UI. I was pretty dead set on the physical keyboard until i discovered the swype keyboard. Now i am on my toes waiting for the nexus one for verizon.

I would choose the iPhone over the droid simply bc it syncs up everything with my mac through mobileme. Thats the main reason I want one. I just don't want AT&T's service and phone bill.
I do the love the Droids camera and blazing internet speeds though. It's a damn good phone.

I think it is personal preference. I have an iphone, but I haven't got to play with the droid yet. I would say neither is better for everyone, but it depends on what you would use it for the most. I know I hated the music interface for other phones I have seen, but iPhone is great for listening to music.

Droid syncs everything up with your google account. its awesome. I get all my stuff from my google calendar, google voice, Gmail, and it backs up everything. If you ever have to exhange your phone. when you get the new one you put in your gmail account and within a few minutes all your apps are back. its sweet.

Droid cause of Verizon. I actually test drove the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone is more user friendly but I enjoy the droid more and prefer the verizon network.
