Is the 13.7" the Infidel model?

My oldest son put together a .300 Blackout and really likes it. My youngest son has a 5.56 pistol length but I don't remember the barrel length just that it is LOUD.

I won't do anything short, that's not setup for subsonic.

Still waiting on my can to be released from the ATF.

Thanks for the edit, picture, and additional information.

Not being up to speed on all Noveske models, can you give me the highlights of the Afghan model?

My son has two cans, one he uses on his Colt M4 5.56 and his Ruger 1022 takedown .22lr and a .30 cal. For his BLK. I believe they are both SilencerCo.

Even the .22 is much quieter with subsonic standard velocity ammo.

I think it took about 8 months for the ATF to come through for him.

14.5 pinned. If you get one, I recommend the CHF barrel over stainless. Go skinny/light weight if you can.

    My Infidel is heavy.

EDIT: In hindsight, I should have gone with the Afghan...

+1 on the skinny light. Wouldn't the pinned flash hider preclude the use of the suppressor? I was under the impression that a SBR (less than 16" ) had a welded/pinned muzzle device.

Dig the "extra" equipment worn while fishing and the Tannerite swan was a neat finishing touch!

    SBR is anything under 16".
The Afghan and Infidel both have pinned/welded flash hider/muzzle device making the length >16", thus not an SBR.

Forgot to mention I added a Geiselle SSA-E trigger to my Sig and really like it compared to the Mil-Spec trigger it came with. My son liked it so much he put one on his Colt.

Thanks for the clarification on the SBR rule. Now I recall that is the reason the muzzle device is pinned is so that it will not be removed making the total barrel length less than 16".

In case I have not mentioned this before; thank you for your service. Without guys like you, we would not have our 2nd amendment rights.

Like many people, I am skeptical that John Noveske died in a crash that was an accident.

I do believe that his widow, Lorina made a good hire in Tom Dillon as the new CEO of Noveske.

Perhaps your career will take you back to Southern Oregon in the future and maybe retire there.

I tend to agree with the "so-called accident" theory... Things just don't add up.

I'm retired now and plan on staying in Bama for many years. Southern Oregon will always be home and is a last stronghold, against spreading liberalism throughout the left coast.

Happy that you like Alabama enough to live here. In spite of all the steariotypes of Southerners we do tend to be patriotic even if we do talk funny.

The West coast libtards seem to have invaded Colorado, parts of Montana, and even Northern Oregon.

Have noticed in some of your posts you have strong family values which are certainly appreciated.

If I could change one thing about the Alabama BS thread it would be to reduce the excessive juvenile use of so many four letter words by what seems to be some really nice people. Since I understand this is an open forum with many different views, I have scaled back on my time here because of this issue.

Hey, there's plenty of stuff to be grateful for that can be attributed to liberalism. National parks, Starbucks, Amazon...I mean come on Amazon Prime? Probably best thing man has discovered since fire.
