Don't laugh, it works and is more reliable than a pop lock plus it's way cheaper. I have one of these on both sides.

The deadbolts keep the tailgate shut if someone tries to open it. Before you could completely open the tailgate with the cap closed.

 

I do not have yet. I am added to the list though

 

I think it's a good idea, at least you have some sense of security. I have a handful of cable locks to secure higher dollar items inside my Bestop. Or at least slow them down.

No trimming there... just need new clips.

Ah yes, those would be two of the options. I haven't even STARTED thinking about bumpers. It needs to happen though
