    Hello, fellow Tacoma owners!

I have seen a lot of people dip their bumper caps. Has anyone wrapped them? Or know the quality difference?

I had no problem dipping the emblems/badges and the front grill. The bumper caps will require more work and I just want to make sure it comes out looking nice.

vinyl wrap nowadays looks like paint so it should look nice. more work to do it but you could maybe even match body color.

i color match spraypainted my caps.

    dipping be the cheapest cost.

How would the caps require more work than the grill?

The bumper caps take longer to remove from the vehicle.

Yeah and you have a pretty good chance of busting some plastic clips for the center section of the bumper if you're not super careful.

Thanks for sharing that video. That's exactly what my worries was about removing them. If you aren't careful with it you can break it.

Might make sense to just have it professionally wrapped so that it matches the color. Even for the higher cost.

I'm going to call some places to get quotes and I'll post pictures of before/after.
