We've been lucky thus far. Skirting talk is fine for a chuckle, I believe, but mods don't play when it comes to talking about serious issues and policies.

Ditto, brother, ditto. Gotta get all dressed nice and shirt tucked in and creased khakis just to sit in a cube and not interact with anyone all day. Makes perfect sense.

I am having difficulty imagining you in creased khakis. Thankfully for me as long as I have a collared shirt on I'm good. Everyday is blue jeans, un-tucked polo style shirt, and tennis shoes or sperry's. Makes the cube life bearable.

Don't bash the jorts completely, until you try them for lawncare you don't know what you're missing. I don't own white shoes though, my yard work shoes are gray.

I didn't choose the thug life. It chose me.

My last job was like that. And boy, oh boy, do I miss that part of it. And the free trips to China and NYC. I was supposed to go to Qatar and Vancouver at some point. Hate I missed those. But I'm here now, and had I not moved, you guys wouldn't have had me hanging around at mod days. What a travesty.

I hope my job allows me international travel one day. We send others international, but our mechanical side of things just stays stateside for now. I do enjoy getting to travel the country at someone else's expense.

International travel can be a bitch, no bones about it. If you're somewhere with a language barrier, it can be a little daunting. I learned just enough Mandarin before I went to keep me out of trouble and be polite when asking for things. lol
