Fuking NBCSN is showing Priemier League soccer live and won't show the GP until 4:00 this afternoon. Morons. Im able to watch online but it's a pain in the ass.

awesome race, great to see Ferrari pull it off, though I think it was more down to Vettel's skill. Raikkonen is taking a massive shit in that car, northing but problems from him. Bottas was given some terrible tire strategy from Merc IMO

 

I think it's cool to have an F1 team back in the US. Gonna try to down to Mooresville and tour Haas F1 shop and SHR shop since they are next door to each other. It's only about 80 miles from my house.

 

Didnt Villeneuve win both Indy and F1 Champion as well?

I don't usually throw Senna's name around willy nilly in comparison of other drivers... but that first lap was Senna-eque.

Truth. But my DVR was set up for NBCSN, so I had to watch it later also. Its tough staying away from all forms of motorsports on a Sunday (worried I'll the spoiler bar at the bottom of the screen) until F1 is over.

Great race. Man the safety car really made it entertaining.

And I didn't quote it, but someone had said the Ferrari are not having issues behind other cars. I totally agree. The Mercs and Red Bull have always had air flow issues when they get close behind. Makes you wonder what/where the differences are.

Sucks for Alonso, dude cant get a break. I like the "leak" he's been talking to Renault again...I think they could be more competitive quicker then the McLaren.

Very exciting race again, somewhat at the front but WOW the midpack action was fierce!

Okay. But what caused his late race struggles? He (rightly IMO) let Hamilton by twice, and both times Lewis drove away from him.

Great strategy by Ferrari - again! Well driven race by Vettel, he still knows how to drive from the front.

Bottas still needs to learn how unfortunately.

Hamilton deserved the penalty I guess, he was caught between a rock and a hard place by Mercedes' stacking of the pit stops. I suppose he could have maintained speed and just sat there behind Bottas but maybe he would have been blocking the next pit? Not sure.

Brilliant, heartbreaking drive by Alonso. If I was running McLaren there would not be a Honda engine in the back of my car next year unless they show top-5 pace this year. Renault is improving and now the rumors of Alonso going there next year start to get interesting.

Ricciardo-Massa-Perez!-Grosjean 5-6-7-8, all very good drives.

Hamilton would have lost less time just stacking behind Bottas

 

I post while I'm watching only if it's live and I'm at my computer. I usually just watch the DVR of it in the living room. I can get multiple cameras on NBC Sports App.

Interesting, I guess if you let them battle it out and they wreck each other you can say not having team orders was a mistake for that race. Either way Bottas knew he didn't have the pace to challenge and Lewis did so it was a no brainer to let him by.
