I have met a couple on the Facebook group but no one on here. Wheeling is very minimal down here since it is to over populated. Plan to do some beach driving soon and hopefully a meet and off road if we can get our schedules set

Started. Haha. Look at my local thread and see how inactive we are. Lots of days and even weeks without a single comment

Heck yeah. Let me know. Hopefully I'm not on call that week since OBX is where we will need to do the beach driving. We also have a huge car meet down here put on by a group called Sumospeed. They charge $5 to show and it is called Night Moves which is once a month

We have a great group here and very diverse. We are really spread out which can make things a little difficult. If I see the thread go for 2 days being inactive I'll make a post and get people talking which leads to some fun conversations

    Not Enough.
    They're sooooooo pretty. :D

Seriously though, just because you kind of have to after you install something like these, I hit a dirt road by my neighborhood last night. Used to average about 20-25 mph because it's not super duper rough, but it's a little rutted and there's some kinda bad washboard spots. Well, just to see what the fuss was about, I decided to bomb it. Like 45-55 mph bomb it. The faster I went, the more it just soaked it up. I had to watch out for the rear because the poor little Bilsteins and factory leafs couldn't keep up like the fronts could.

Little more tweaking of the preload for the proper ride height, and I'm pretty sure I'll officially be in love.

I'm also unfortunately only a maybe on this one. Good friend of mine has been almost begging me to go to the beach with him, and he's kid free that weekend. So you know how that goes.

Yes sir. They're indeed your coils. As far as the ride, I'm impressed. See above. Worth every penny. :D

I left the sway bar off. Kind of got forced to. If you look at the picture, there's a bolt through the frame from the ARB that made the resi brackets not quite line up. But I'm probably going to notch them out around the bolt to get them to line up right. But so far, it's not terrible.

Nice truck man. Not sure if you've every done it or not in another vehicle, but if you do decide to head down to the OBX and hit the beach, make sure you air down. The beaches out there are unique. One day it can be damp and fairly hard packed, the next day it can be super dry and powdery sugar sand. Being 2WD, I wouldn't go down without a friend and a strap if I was to do it.

I stripped one of my end links when I installed my CO's so I took mine off too. I don't even notice it's gone

I noticed a little more lean, especially now that the front has some travel and waaaaaay less preload. I need to crank them up just a bit to level everything out, but it doesn't feel sketchy. And I've driven some sketchy stuff. I can still run 55-60 through the faster back roads around here, so I'm good.

Yeah, I'm already planning on probably a 3 leaf progressive AAL w/o overload maybe for the back. Seems to be a nice ride for a decent price based on opinions. And then I gotta figure out some kind of shock. I'd love a pair of Kings to match, but I'm thinking that might have to wait for another spending spree.

Its all good man, builds don't happen over night...besides whats the fun in that? Sounds like a plan there, will be curious to see how that goes. I have the T-handle that King offers if you need it to help adjust the coils. It actually has some good leverage for it. The height they are at now was what they were from the factory which is nice and plush for me.

I'll probably be there, I already have that Saturday off for something else. Are we going to set up a spot for the "Not north enough to be NOVA" crew?

Not reserving spots really, so park wherever you want with whoever you want. We don't need to segregate ourselves. The purpose of a meet is to get to know other Toyota people. :)

Dang I missed a lot in a weekend lol. Cool to know I've got some fellow hunters in here as well. My stepdad manages a huntclub of 8,000 acres and about 75 members here in Orange that I get pretty much free reign in. So from the day bow season goes in till Rifle goes out in normally in a tree somewhere back there lol.

Yeah. They're definitely smooth, especially with the bumper and winch up front. They do need to come up some though, I noticed my headlights weren't throwing light quite as far last night. Especially the driver's side. The lean is more noticeable now. But I'll be throwing it on the lift at work this afternoon to mess with it a little bit.

I will as soon as I get a free second. It was dark last night or I would have already had a photo shoot. Lol.

From what I have gathered on my kings...I think a good rule of thumb is 2 visible threads more of preload on the drivers side to help with the taco lean. I agree you will likely have to go up about 1-2 threads worth of preload since those are 650 weight springs and some guys go to 700 springs depending on how they want them to ride.
