Proven accurate round. Figured with the $ spent it would be more wildcatty tho.

 

A custom built rifle no matter what the caliber is going to be expensive.

 

For the most part, chambering doesn't affect the price of a real custom gun.

 

Why would I want a wildcat?
A LR Precision platform should also be practical, what's practical about ammunition that is not common. I've already been down the 308 road, yes you can delink ammo in that caliber as a field expedient fix. I moved to the 7mm due to component availability a couple years ago during the run on everything AR. Another reason for the move was it has about 100" less drop and 30" less drift in 10mph full value wind at 1K at the same velocity. I run em around 2700fps, no need to kick em out the door at warp factor 10, that just burns up barrels.
