Being on a rack would make it much more "doable" compared to being on jackstands and tearing up my knuckles and forearms trying to torque the bastards down. How did you manage to torque the manifold bolts? There is zero space to get a hand in there IMO but every thread I've read makes it sound much simpler than the my experience with it.

What was the major difference? Weathertech doesn't reco them for a MT but I was curious about making them fit...

Do you really live a mile from downtown Gilbert? I am literally a mile from there too!

We went out to box canyon, the back way in through Price road by the Country Thunder camp grounds. Took the quad back into Martinez Canyon.

You need to cut a little bit so the clutch pedal can be depressed all the way. I opted to get weathertech mats instead. Works great with my vinyl flooring.

    Yeah, sooooo overdue!

I had been running my dashcam cord snaked all the way over from the weather stripping on the driver's side, under the dash cover by the steering wheel over to a cigarette lighter adapter.
Also had a USB cord draped over the steering wheel to the other cigarette lighter in the center console and it was driving my OCD crazy every day.

Now everthing's nicely tucked away and I only have a 6" cord that goes from my A-pillar DIY phone mount to the plug straight down.

However, you do NOT want to know the goddamn rat's nest of wires I found down in there under the fuse panel when I was looking for a ground point for the plug/button.
Absolutely had someone before me do some "wiring" and there are wires and connectors and in-line fuses like a mofo that up until yesterday I hadn't noticed. :annoyed:

I'll give credit though that despite the gooey electrical tape on everything at least it was more or less clean. Attempting to fish everything out and "fix" it (return to semblance of stock) would be a goddamn nightmare and probably require taking the whole dash apart. Who knows how much time it would take to figure out where everything is tapped into. It was a significant "Ohhhh, fuuuuuuck" moment when I realized the extent of the previous owner's (one of 2 before me) work.

Per some suggestions from other members it looks like it was an aftermarket alarm that got pulled prior to being sold off.
Nothing is acting weird electrically at the moment but of course but I'm definitely going to have that shit in the back of my mind and if I ever want to do any major wiring work I have to address that first.

With the truck on a rack, suspension drooped, wheels off and the little fabric liners off, I got it with a wiggler socket and extension lol, perks of being a mechanic for my family's shop, always have racks and tools available at any time

I'm running those too! Had to get aftermarket uppers once my front hit 3" of lift because the factory upper balljoint was cocked over too much for my comfort, the spc arms also got alignment in spec

The clutch pedal when pressed can wind up under the liner causing it to lift, some have said they trimmed to fit while others claim to have had them fit without issues. Aside from doing a little trimming I went ahead and added button snaps to the front of the mat to help keep it from moving or being lifted by the clutch pedal.

Bilstein 5100s front with clip set to 0, OME 885x coils and toytec 1/4" top plate spacers (I'm a prerunner so I was able to achieve the 3" with that setup) and I have 285/75r16 KO2s on level 8 mk6 wheels with -10 offset, I rub at full lock in reverse. I need to get a plate bumper so I can caster forward to stop rubbing the fender/cab mount lol.

IMG_1068.jpg @ChadsPride the more I keep seeing the scs wheels the more I want to buy a set, do you know if the f5s allow for a center cap? The TRD center cap specifically. So far all the f5s I've seen are without centercap of any kind

The F5's do NOT use a center cap, unfortunately
