Yeti sells strap kits to mount it to a truck bed/boat floor. I think they work with the RTICs.

I also have been thinking about getting a prerunner chase rack and mounting some wetsounds speakers to it kinda like a boat b/c we always are at the lake

I got kayak straps and strap it to the rear tie downs. Works great and doesn't cost Yeti money.

Imagine the freaking profit that they turn! The manufacturing has to be literally identical to rtic because theyre the same product just 1/2 the price... yet rtic obivously still makes a profit, yeti must make like ridiculous money.

 

They've branded very well that they can comand the price they do. Some people won't get "cheap knockoffs" because it's not a Yeti... Good for them but bad for us poor people

 

They feel identical thought thats the crazy part! As far as fit and finish goes they feel the same, to me it seems that the only thing you would be "sacrificing" would be the name, and the sweet stickers that go along with it.
