Just picked Rusty up this past Thursday. So glad I went with this color, it has what I would call personality. Waiting on TRD Pro grill to get rid of that hideous chrome thing :)

Picked it up Friday. @thecoloRADoinferno i agree with you there. That Pro grille really sets off the front end. I gotta paint the rear bumper caps for the same reason. :D

I'm going to start with ko2's and get rid of the awful bridgestones (it's a trd off road for Christ sake!) plasti dip maybe for next winter, see how I like it. Think black wheels look good on a white vehicle.

We went on our first road trip together. 700 miles on some Washington State scenic byways (& the I-5) to get a feel for the road handling.

What I learned? The new wheels really haven't made much difference to MPG. Still around 18.6 MPG. It's a lot more fun to drive, when not looking at the fuel economy. I'm still getting some rub.

Entune sucks. I just can't seem to get it to understand my requests! A Spotify App would be nice.

F150's smoke me on the climbs, but I don't care.

The east side of the Cascades are quite pretty in the spring. I'm looking forward to going back and exploring the dirt roads.

Usually people from California (and other states) call I-5, "The I-5" as they do with the rest of their highways down there.

Interesting. I had never noticed that. My old Lieutenant would pick up that I would say "Do you want to got to hospital?" Instead Americans say "Do you want to go to the hospital? "

I lived in NorCal and I typically noticed this from people that were from SoCal.

You mean your "leftenant?" ;) Yeah, I often notice that when watching british shows they say "go on holiday" versus "go on a holiday". Also, I noticed that sometimes they replace past tense with present tense with "does" and "do" and you get something like "what toyota do is..."

Yeah mostly my LA friends but I've heard people from other states say "the i-5" or "the 405".

Having lived in over a dozen states, putting The in front of a highway number is common. It's not specific to anywhere north south east or west. Its used in Louisiana, California, Michigan...
some folks who have grown up in Places that commonly do this, don't. Others bring it with them from elsewhere and locals pick it up.

Which is why I said I knew he/she wasn't originally from WA. Locals don't say "the i-5" here.
