Finally Bought One! Question though...

Hold down the "phone answer" button on the steering wheel until Siri come up on the entune unit, then use siri. I have not found a way to use the entune voice activation to reply to txt messages for the iphone.

 

That's the one thing the dealer told me you have to use Siri not the entune system to reply to text.

 

My stereo only goes to 63 so I figure it doesn't go loud enough to blow the speakers. If it went to 65 I would wonder.

 

Geez, I got to 28 and it's loud enough to wake the neighborhood.

 

You probably have the good JBL system...I've only got Entune audio plus.

 

I've got the JBL. One thing you have to do is turn down the bass for some types of music. That thing really wants to distort if you crank it up and have the bass turned up on the high end. It's a great stock system but nothing that's going to rattle your eyes out of your skull. I had those "back massaging" systems in the late 90s when they were cool.... probably why I'm half deaf today (well that and jets)

 

I've got the premium but not the JBL. Perfect for my needs, wish it had a bit more bass but it's fine.

 

Remember equalizers and boosters? All my buddies had Alpine systems. All I could afford was Pioneer but I added an equalizer/booster and it was the best part of my '79 Malibu.
