I want horns on my 85, but haven't found a cheap setup that doesn't include a compressor and track.

All done! Don't mind my dirty truck...lol

Butyl + SILICA GEL PACKS + caulking = hopefully should not create any condensation lol!

Got to love the 5% tint!

Both my girls! taking a break to stretch our legs on the trip home.

Edit, truck is not broken, I'm parked diagonally on a downward slope and there's a curb you can't see due to lighting

I would highly highly recommend AGAINST doing this. The stock wiring just can't handle that sort of load. There's a reason there's a 10amp fuse in there, and just throwing a higher fuse in risks starting an electrical fire. Now you're allowing more current to flow through than the wiring can handle. Anyways, I'm not here to argue it, but wiring up a relay doesn't take long and is worth it for peace of mind.

I don't think it would work very well with the storage bins back there. They wouldn't just bolt up.

Are you talking about something like this?

That pic makes it look like you broke your passenger side LCA. Looks crazy low.

I tried to find some sound clips but was unsuccessful. Is that a beep beep horn or a semi truck type horn?

Somewhere in between. Are you going for a semi style horn?

I was thinking about taking all that out and being able to put one of the small 12v fridges between them as a console.

Finally got around to posting this. Made some modifications to my Apex fog light mounts.

The welds were quick and dirty since they were getting completely smoothed out anyway. I massaged the welds to leave a smooth transition from the mount itself to to the shield I welded in place to protect it and clean up the look. Followed it up with powder coating 2 coats of zinc primer then the mini texture black that matches everything else on the truck

I meant the storage bins on the bottom. There's no way to remove those since they're integrated into the cab. You could make some bucket seats work, but I personally wouldn't trust them in an accident. I'd remove the 40 side of the 60/40 split and put a fridge there. Then it's easily accessible, can be undone easily, safer, and cheaper since you're not buying more seats.

Just looking for something fun for the trails. I don't currently have a horn though so this would double to help someone pull their head out of their ass if need be.

Did you break something? Your right front looks like it's lower than the rest of the truck.

Those horns are pretty loud, and nice and compact. You could always just go balls to the wall and do this. This gets everyone's attention! It sounds like an OEM horn but 10x louder.

Trust me, I wanted to, but that'd be a bit silly on a Subaru Legacy. Plus mine only cost me $70.
