Decided to keep the setup vs starting over and finished up the Shmellfab chase rack. Today we added the linear actuator and lights. I think it turned out great. Thanks to Ryan of Shmellfab for helping me out! This guy does great work! Tomorrow will be fun wiring everything up.

Is that prinsu rack specific to access cabs, or did u have to modify one for a dc? Looks good by the way.

Dumb question: aren't train horns illegal equipment?

As in: If a cop figures out your fun toot-toot came from you then you get a hefty fine?

They make one for access cabs. You just have to drill mounting holes because there are no factory ones.

Depends on where you are and how you use them. On my truck I use a switch and a relay to choose if my horn button activates the electric or the air horns. Usually, I have the switch off (electric horns) in city limits but turn the switch on (air horns) when I get on the highway. I haven't had any issues with police when I used mine, but then again I'm not a dumbass about it.

so my only gripe with this is purely aesthetics. I dont feel that the light bar cage matches the round lights that well. would think it would look better with a single bend on each side to be less square. other then that, its a clean slick setup. love the idea of the actuator

Nope, I've got better things to do than drive around honking at people to get a laugh. Those guys probably are the type who shave eachothers butt holes.
