Entine texting question

i get a text and push the read button while driving and it reads the text back via voice but how do i reply via voice to that text without fumbling with my phone? all i see is quick message choice.

tried to edit the header Entune but can do that

 

I don't think you can...

The voice isnt that great of recognizing so I wouldn't even trust it anyway and for safety reasons it would disable any kind of keyboard while driving.

I could be wrong, but I have an Iphone and know that reply features arent supported.

 

Sometimes I get the option to reply, other times I do not. Not sure why the difference.

 

You can only use quick messages through the head unit. I wish there was a voice to text option.

 

You can customize about 15 quick reply sentences in the Entune head unit. Those work for me about 90% of the time.

 

i know i live in the same state as you. was referring to the conversion in entunes just push the button on the screen and it reads the text back. thats why the phone is paired to the head unit. i do not use my cell phone at all in my truck unlike 80% of the others here. was asking if there was a way to respond by voice and i guess there is not.
