Where did you splice for power?

 

That's really matt? Looks pretty shiny to me for matt. What brand/s did you use for the paint? Asking cause I plan to do this initially before buying rims down the line.

 

I pulled a 60A run from the battery to a distribution panel mounted on the back wall. It feeds the radio and the stereo amp (for now). I also pulled an ignition switched line from the 12v outlet in the center console. It is used for the radio Ignition Sense input and to power the cell booster.

 

Nice job... do you remember the color of the wire to the switched power in the center console?

Where did you get them from?

 

The console comes apart pretty easily. Two bolts under the "carpet" inside and the rest is clips. The 12v outlet is a simple plug

 

No way, If I can fit a twin ARB under the hood of my 1st Gen with the 4CYL engine, you would think there would be plenty of room somewhere on a 3rd Gen...

does it have the same exiting point as the OEM? I have a safari snorkel and wouldn't mind pairing it with this

 

I see you painted the reflector as well! looks amazing, any issues with the reflector no longer being able to reflect the amber bulbs?

 

Thanks! Signal no problem (changed those to yellow bulbs) Haven't really tested out the brights, I did use lens tint instead of paint so it kept the integrity of the chrome. Don't really care, gonna throw some high output bulbs in there and I'm sure add some better LED fogs too.
Ive always been form before function.. trying to find a balance.

Do you have to pay for those features?

 

after installation of cat back and intake, did you do a performance calibration to the engine for the power upgrade? and does it now require 91 octane?

 

Access to the configuration page is $10 for a week of access or $40 for a year. I opted for a year. You can use it as many times as you need to get your truck configured.

 

That's cool! Reminds me of the time the same thing happened back in 2001? at Summit Point, WV and I did the same, except I left my trailer attached. I was following an instructor and he gave me a thumbs up every time the trailer was trying to pass me on the outside of a corner because it was breaking traction. I only wish I could have gotten to ride the nicer tracks out west!

 

Installed front fox 2.0 shocks today!

 

Nothing major, especially within the scope of mods and other additions I've seen posted here, but I replaced the stock carpet mats with some cheap all weather rubber trim-to-fit front and back mats I picked up for $30 at Walmart.

Next is the AVS in line vent visors and a steering wheel cover, followed by seat covers and, eventually, a tonneau cover.
