Howdy all...... just got a 2014 Tacoma. It has a transmission cooler and an oil cooler along with the 7 pin connection with the frame attached hitch. This makes me think it has the towing package, yet when I asked the dealer they could not seem to find the towing pckg in the paper work... now for the question- do you think they are just messed up on the fact that it has it or is it possible that it doesn't have the towing package?

The bigger alternator is also part of the tow package. I'm not too sure about the battery though unless you have the original. So far it sounds like you have the tow package. Not sure if it's aftermarket or factory without actual pictures.

That's what I was thinking and that the person at the dealership was either lacking knowledge or misinformed.

Thanks for y'alls help... much appreciated because I'm about to buy a trailer for the deer lease. Not going to get the max weight but 3500 is limiting

Could run your VIN through the myriad VIN decoders on the web or sign up at toyotaowners.com and see what it lists for your truck.
