Beer and pizza go along way around here to get help turning wrenches.

UCAs are a good idea, as are extended rear brake lines.

    LCAs are for later.

Billies and an AAL is a start, a rear leaf pack is better (OME Dakar or All Pro).

Then armor, sliders, and bumpers :)

Going to be a first time dad.. yeehaw!
All plans have shifted a lil bit. Specially with my mod list for the truck :( nevertheless I plan on keeping it slow and steady.

eyy congratulations, Angelo. That's kickass news. Truck stuff is cool and all, but I imagine fatherhood wins hands-down.

For sure. Something with a real back seat is definitely ideal.

Congrats! For little ones that need a car seat the tC would suck. However, in 2015 I took the family down to Disney in ours. All four of us with a cargo box on the roof for the additional luggage. It was a blast!
$235 in gas round trip vs. $1500 in airfare. :D

    Welcome!

First off id like to ask you some questions...

What is it you are looking for out of this lift kit?

What will you be doing about tires? (Your truck will look like it skipped leg day) ask me how I know this....

Where do you want to go once you lift this truck? To a parking lot or to the trails?

If you could exceed your 1500 dollar budget how much would you feel comfortable going over? Also how long would it take you to double that budget? Sorry for the personal question but trying to gauge it out so maybe we can talk you i to something more expensive but will do what you really want...

You will not need to invest in LCAs unless your eccentric alignment adjusting bolts are siezed into the sleeves of the bushings...

Most guys here are MORE than willing to assist in an install (myself included) for some beer and pizza... or atleast beer money... you can come and not only learn about your truck but get assisstance...

    To answer your questions....

Billy 5100 is a decent lift... are you using eibachs coils or stock coils? What AAL are you going to go with? Have you considered the Old Man Emu dakar pack?

Id suggest UPPER CONTROL ARMS over LOWER CONTROL ARMS so you can get your alignment in spec with ease... total chaos makes nice uniball uppers...

Also I would suggest extended brakelines... and for only 106 bucks @OCTaco can get you what you need

Lol idk why but her car sucks in gas. She has the 5 speed. "Loves stick shift cars" and her car revs high in the highway in 5th gear. :notsure: prolly the reason for the poor mpgs
