Ok... this noob needs advice. I know its personal preference but the more opinions the better.

I'm looking for opinions on what to do next with my rig and how I should build it up for those of you with experience.

Looking to do: Explore, camp, surf trips, light off road.

Done so far: Full OME Suspension and Dakar leaf pack, shell, platform build, and radio.

Looking to do next: Cooper AT3's 265/70/17 E.

Yeah, that might be a good idea. I'm looking to find a shop to fab stuff up.

Thanks my dude. It would be sick to do a 4x4 conversion down the road as well but, thats a ways off.

Sliders and skids are good. Maybe a front bumper w/ winch if you plan on going solo a lot. Thats what I would like to do next ideally, but it's a bit pricey to do both at once.

Sounds like you're done with your camp build to me after your description of what you're into. Before stepping further I would outfit your truck with recovery gear. Its one thing to wheel alone and another to ask someone to back up, turn around sideways, shred a strap, dig out, snow snatch someone you get stuck with. Its their time, socks, pants, calories, etc. Keep it in mind.

Everything is pricey lol! I plan to get a All Pro tube bumper and winch at some point since I have a peerunner and will probably need it.

    On it!

Also, what recovery gear do you recommend?

Nice. I'm going to go with the All Pro Baja 2.0 tube bumper when I have the funds to get one.

5100s/OME 888s. Dakar leaf pack. Total Chaos UCAs. DeMello Sliders. BAMF Recessed Grille. Prinsu Cabrack and Toprack.
Prinsu racks on top of the cab and shell. Looks killer and carries a lot of gear away from your bed so you can sleep in it.

I have Yakima Racks with the track system. I was thinking of getting a basket for money sake or a box off craigslist. Prinsu racks are total sex though. Still have to get boards up top too, thats the only hold back.

To piggy back on the tire puncture kit and Ez up. Know how to use them. Never learn anything as easy as those in the field.
