so I've got lift, tires and wheels coming this week. All due in by Thursday. Currently I have a Leer camper shell on my DCSB. Turns out I need to have quicker access to a wide open bed so I'm thinking about selling/trading my camper for a soft top. Anyone have pics of a black soft top on a lifted silver DCSB? Any pros/cons other than the obvious with a soft top?

[IMG]My folks just spent a week in the SW and my dad sent a pic of a silver 2013 like mine with a flat black shell, looked really good. I think the soft top would look similar. I'm pretty sure one of the American Adventurist guys had a 2nd gen light colored with a black top. I've been on the hunt for a cap and would be happy with black (or just about any color at this point). [IMG]

BTW, anyone know which one (Best top or Softopper) has quickest/easiest collapsibility? I'm leaning toward the softopper just for the non-window look.

20160610_171742.jpg Will never own another truck without a Softopper. Easy on/off & well built. This was originally on my 2nd gen. Probably will replace it with one for the 3rd gen for a "cleaner" fit.IMG_0330.jpg

Now with that...if anyone knows where I can get a Softopper in black for a short bed that isn't $700-$800, please let me know. Thanks guys!

I need something that I can move out of the way quickly. I live in an apartment so removing a cap and storing isn't an option.
