Don't own a GoPro... But, Would like to find an option that would allow me to utilize the windshield GoPro mount to hold my Smart Phone. Anybody aware of something that might work?

I don't see how that could be useful since it is so high up. Here is my GoPro setup though

I asked a similar question recently. Someone said people are modifying cheap go-pro hardware, e.g., cut and re-assembling with epoxy or Velcro, etc.

I have seen it used for a radar detector. Pretty cool alternative to a GoPro IMO.

Watched videos of bull guards saving their taco here in Tacomaworld. So having a dash cam would be nice. But the prices are $80-$90. GoPro go for $400 which is a lot. So I found a GoPro copycat for $50 with loop feature so it's a dash cam also. I also like the fact that it has wireless link with my iPhone so I can see the video feed on my phone, even though it has its own 2" screen. The accessories includes various GoPro compatible mounts including an underwater case. So I got the best or least close to the best of both for a fraction of the price.image.jpg

I had bought this so my gf could do her vlog stuff and not have to hold the phone the whole time. I also got a little bag from best buy of gopro adapters for 10 bucks. I used it for short videos when I was in Quebec, and it works great, and when you're not using it, it just folds up out of the way.
