But, doesn't your little V6 have the awesome sound piped in through the speakers? :snicker:
The new tune seems to keep the RPMs a little higher in the sweet spot, I'm actually shocked how well it did with fuel economy.
Ferd has a 36 gallon fuel tank :stirthepot:

My old man put an auxiliary tank in his diesel for that reason. His tank is about the size of the Tacoma's and, when towing heavy, will drink fuel pretty quickly. Stations that sell diesel can also be scarce in certain areas so he carries an extra tank with him. I think his is 30 gallons and has an electric pump. You can cut a hole in the bed and make it automatically feed but he didn't want to go that route. He has a switch in the cab and just hand-pumps it.

Nah. I had the dealer disable it when I took it in for a tire rotation and oil change a few months ago. Honestly I didn't notice a difference in how it sounds inside. :notsure:

The cab is insulated well enough that I can't really hear the turbos working either, unless I roll the window down. Just a murmur.

Morning y'all! Speaking of potholes, one thing I noticed driving to Plymouth this weekend with a bird cage in the passenger seat is the difference in ride with the lift kit. It's definitely stiffer over bumps, which the bird did not enjoy. The few potholes I didn't manage to avoid would almost knock him off his perch! I got a couple angry squawks but besides that he doesn't mind riding in the truck.

Nice, I didn't know you could disable it. The cabs are very quiet in those trucks. If the V8 wasn't tucked so far back in the engine compartment, I likely wouldn't be able to hear it as well in the cab.

Apparently on the upper end models you can do it yourself through the audio controls, but since I've just got the XLT I had to have a tech plug in with the IDS and do it.

Probably added 5hp having them disable it, though. :stirthepot:

He could just be a flatulent person and keeps the bird with him for safety purposes. By OSHA standards, a vehicle could be considered a confined space...

You too! I'm glad you gave me the tip on unloading. I put a couple 4x4s down and it was enough to keep it from hitting the bash plate. My son loves the new bike, I put him on the seat when I pushed it into the garage and he's sold. Now to convince the wife...

They both already have power wheels, so my 5 year plan is already in play! I sold the road bike and now have a dual sport bike, well suited for off road. The board is set, pieces are in motion.

Took a look at the adjustment cams this morning when I blasted them with penetrating oil, doesn't look like the monkeys at TFT even put a wrench on them yesterday.

That's what I mean, I bought the power wheels, and I already have a dirt bike. Once the boys outgrow the power wheels and want something bigger, she'll have to answer to them. It's easy to say no to me, much more difficult to say that to all 3 of us :D

I think you should shoehorn the 125cc motor out of a Kawasaki Eliminator in there.
