    O.K.. If Im reading this correctly, your running an oiled filter with a forced induction engine?
    I wouldn't do that.
    I had a CTD with a K&N and found out that the forced induction creates to much suction for the cloth&oil filter types and I found dirt and grit right at the front of my turbo. And that truck wasn't even an offroad rig.

    Yes I am. It hasn't been an issue at all yet. In fact, it filters better than my dry filter did. I would constantly throw codes and the truck would go into limp mode and actually die on me on the trail.

    Time will tell, but I think I'm good. :thumbsup:

    I think every boosted 350z/g35 runs an oiled filter and it's fine. I don't know if I've seen a dry conical filter.

    When I was searching for a replacement filter, I went with K&N due to their size selection. Didn't even occur to me there might be dry filters available. Anyhow, I very had my K&N for about 9 years and haven't really run into issues. But I never went on dirt with the z either.
