haha, a friend at the FD partially rolled his early 2000s 4runner on dirty threes...only damage was the roof. So he's currently in the process of chopping the roof and welding roll bars. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

There are a couple shops in Florida that do these conversions and they are very impressive from a cosmetic, function, and safety point of view. They charge ridiculous amounts of cash to do it but as you can imagine regular folk like us aren't their regular clientele.

I brought home an FJ for Christa to test drive. She didn't want to drive it very far because of all of the blind spots. I felt the same way really.

There was a guy on here that had installed three cameras and three 5" screens above his rearview so he could see what was going on around the truck. Those windows and pillars are just a bad mix for anything close to decent visibility.

I know there have been some threads with places up north, but are there any good alignment places south-central? (Think Ben White/I-35) I'm hoping to swap the 885s for some 886s this weekend or next and will need an alignment. If there's a lifetime alignment place, even better.

Anyone used Ben White Automotive? $99 for alignment, $159 for lifetime alignment service. He also said I could do the lifetime even with the 33s and lift.

NTB on 35 where all the dealerships are is good. Speedy Align on 183 is good.

There's a Speedy Align on Oltorf right by my office. Might just drop my truck off there and hitch a ride to work.

I should get some of those - not that I need stiffeners, but the additional tie downs would be the shit.

Side note - picked up an American-made capacitor. 4x the price of the Chinese made, so it better last more than 4x as long!

Just tired of replacing capacitors - they never go out first thing in the morning. Oh, no, they wait until all the part stores are closed and the HVAC repair guys go to their night rates.
