When they're teenagers and each wants dear old dad to buy them their own ATV, Dirt Bike, car... not so wonderful.

 

Perfect lead in to them getting their own jobs. That's what my parents did with me. They got me hooked when I was young and, from then on, if I wanted something bigger and better, I had to save my money until I had enough to buy it. I always had older bikes and snowmobiles growing up, we never had the newest, best and fastest but they were still just as much fun!

Nothing wrong with sounding like a Subie, but you don't have unequal length headers, so it probably sounds like the lame 2.0 DIT motors in the Forester XT and WRX, which under load, sounds like a cacophony of whale farts.

Same with me, except I was into BMX bikes. Still am..wish I kept a couple of them. But early on I got the lesson about earning things

that's the one thing I kept from my childhood was my bmx bike. I had an S&M Dirtbike classic with a custom setup. Love the thing - rebuilt it all last year and rode it.. once....

That's a good question... I take it that's the passenger side? If so then loosening would be towards the front of the truck, not the rear? Still don't know...
