Well. You can do it yourself. It's not hard. But I am bad with that kind of stuff.

Definitely. Not ragging on you at all. I meant for the dealer!

I've paid for things like that before also!

I do six months off road a year for work. The truck really really shines over the other brands especially in the mud. We have to make our own roads. I think my 2004 was I would have to say more of a bad ass... Smaller and can do more in 2wd. But the 2nd gen is pretty good too.

Did your local dealer sell it to you for $379? If so that's one of the best prices I've seen!

Totally don't see the fascination with the PRO grille. The stock grille on '14 looks nicer IMO. Seriously tho, when you feel like doing something like this...youtube it first. 2 bolts, 2 clips. Probably the easiest thing you can do. The dealer should punch itself in the face for charging you anything. You just spent a wad. They should just install it free.

I asked my dealer if they would price match, normally would not do but since I bought my truck from them I got it for $350+tax.

One of the benefits of building a relationship with the dealer.

Edit: Mounted it today, as a noob took me 1 hr, the tabs were a pita!

I agree with the YouTube search part but it's more than 2 clips unless you broke the other ones.

I'll beat the dealer's price and only charge $50 to swap out a grille lol

I forget where I saw it in here, but the logic that "well doing a satoshi is better because you can customize it any way you want" is just wrong. What if I want a grille that looks exactly like the trd pro one? Is anyone out there making one for less than the price of the trd pro from toyota? Nope, didn't think so. There isn't anything wrong with making the truck your own. If you want to spend $500 on a grille, go for it. I spent $150 on a color matched one because I hate the chrome that came on the limited. I'll probably spend a bunch more money getting rid of the rest of the chrome.

If people want it, this is the only way to get one... until someone sneaks the tooling out the back door and we start seeing this grill on ebay for $100. If someone wants a satoshi grille, people don't flip them endless shit for paying someone else a couple hundred dollars to make one when they could easily do it for less than $100 themselves.

Not sure where else to bitch about this, so I'll do it here: The black tacoma and trd emblems on the trd pro that I saw at the dealer looked really cheap. The emblems looked almost home-made. The edges were all messed up, rough and not smooth. The black coating was also messed up on the edges, looked like it was worn off or something. I just thought it was funny to see emblems on a brand new truck that looked like they had been made by ray charles and then hit with sandpaper.

Yes. It's on eBay. They accept "best offer" free shipping.

Next question..... When people call it insert, will it completely replace my entire stock grille including the chrome outline? I am confused on whether or not the 2015 pro grille insert will completely replace my entire grille or if it will just replace the middle section?
