For the life of me, I can not get the Taco to recognize a USB drive. I got it to work once after several attempts a year ago, but not ever since. I have tried multiple drives, reformatted, etc. with no luck. (MacOS & Premium w/ JBL)

Are you creating the folders and then putting the files in those folders? Has to be identical to the instructions in the video, correct capitalization and all.

    Stickers gone.
Finally had my truck in for its first 5000k check up. I mentioned the weird shifting pattern going on and they uploaded new software. Made a huge difference. Drives great now and I don't have to keep it in ECT mode.

Well, looks like I've got a weekend project then! :D

As far as the 50 - was just coming out of construction on 26, but had to take advantage of the 5k photo-op! You know I'm better than that.

The lady in the video used an Apple, but regardless, I'm fairly certain I formatted in FAT going through my attempts.

Yes, but the USB drive isn't even being recognized... the folder and file names aren't the problem.

I'll give it another go when I get home, but I tried formatting in FAT(32) already. File/folder names were as instructed.

I am going to attempt taking it down, I have dynomate and Im putting in a dash cam with a rear camera. We will see how it goes. I have seen some directions on the 2end gen, So I'm hoping it's not too different.

Maybe it's a bum USB drive? When you plug it in to your computer does the computer recognize it and see the files?
