One in Sterling off Nokes was good when I got my and my brothers rear bumper.

Fitting two high clearance rear bumpers with swingouts in a short bed was quite a feat

lol apparently the notes worked and the UPS guy delivered my lift. he apologized about yesterday he said he was off and there was a substitute driver.

he laughed at the notes and actually moved the lift into the garage for me. the wife said he started asking her questions about the lift and all that

yea man, the wife got complimented so many times "tell your husband that his 4Runner is cool" that she made a sticker and put it on the back window that said "Hers not His" (even though I bought it for her as a gift when we had our daughter.)

hahahaha nice... yea she was driving some tiny VW Jetta, and I told her I would feel better about the baby in a big tank of an SUV and so I bought her / us the 4Runner for her "mom-mobile"

and she pretty much knows I have to lift / mod anything I own. haha

Someone had showed me something like this when we talked about this a few months ago in this thread, but I am still weary. There is almost 600 pounds of pressure in those springs...a lot could go wrong. I think I am just going to have @DOUBLLD take care of it for me. Much quicker and safer.

If you are looking to get a lift installed, several members in the northern VA area can help if you want to DIY, or @DOUBLLD has a shop in Sterling and is reasonable priced, does great work too.

are you looking to get one INSTALLED or to BUY it?

I would suggest buying your wheels / tires online

For your lift, I would suggest Calling, PMing, or checking out @HeadStrong Off-Road and talk to Marie... she has the best prices / customer service around

and we are installing my lift, wheels, and tires not this weekend but next if you'd like to join / watch /meet some people.

Thanks for the info guys. I need to buy one and I'm looking to have it installed so I'll probably talk to @DOUBLLD. Do any of you guys have a 3 in lift or more? I stuck between a king mid travel and an ICON. Over all I'm looking for a 3" lift to fit 33's with minimal rubbing. Do you have any any suggestions?
