Sorry all for being late in response, it's been a busy set of days. From summarizing our posts,
    • @Benson X was the only one who couldn't do the weekend of the 17th. In discussing with him, he's OK with this. A small scouting group/get together is planned in May so he'll still be able to get out here, even if that means not seeing the whole group.
    • @northwesttaco can't do anything before or on the 9th, @RogueTRD can't do before or on the 12th.
    • June 9th is the Jeep event. We could attempt making that date work, but experience says the overcrowding will be a large issue. Backing down trails, waiting on long recoveries, waiting on long groups that are not our own, limited camping opportunities.

From weighing the above, @snowgod06 and I are in favor of moving to the 17th. We do realize that it would possibly limit the number of people going, but at this point our numbers are already at record numbers for those promising to camp. If there's any compelling reason NOT to choose that date for the good of the majority, please state it, otherwise the dates are officially June 16-18 by midnight tonight.

Once those dates become official, those that aren't able to attend are welcome to message me and we can set up another meet out at TSF some time. I'm about 1 hour away, so I can always throw a tent in the back and make things happen if I don't have a prior commitment. Additionally, the PNW Expedition group has a LARGE facebook following, so some of them can probably go if I can't make it happen.

@Chickenmunga I am good prior to the 12th, anything after that is hit and miss but if we are shooting for 16-18 I'll do my best to be there.

OK so I was brilliant and fell on the stairs last night, so I didn't get the date updated until just now.

    Geez - you ok?

And you specifically said "on" not "up" or "down". Is there a dumbass story here?

    Apparently drunk on oatmeal.
Had the hunger the other night, went downstairs to make it up. went back up the stairs in the dark (like you do). However, I only caught the top step with the tip of the big toe. Big toe doesn't like that much weight, it let me know, I did the funky chicken and fell down. Of course, since I can't just leave it there, I also lightly bonked my head against the wall at the very end as if capping off the performance.
I've got a nice bruise along the metatarsal, toe still hurts, ankle is cranky because it has to compensate for my weird gait, and my knee muscles are also a bit upset.

@Haslefre did you reserve the site for the dates we set? If not I can if you rather not yourself.

No. That date the group site is taken. The only weekend it was available was our previous weekend.

So far my worst case scenarios is dispersed camping at Jordan Creek or a dead end FS road a little west of Lyda Camp. The dead end road would cover most things except possibly parking. Lyda would at least provide quick access to south end of Archer's

I'll try and drive up a day or two if we don't brake strike for commercial fishing by then. Also i won't show up in my taco that's my daily driver but my runners up for the gig if you don't mind a none taco in the group.

Just as a note, I'm not actively turning anyone away (not like I could), but several pages back we capped the meet because our vehicle count is already high and camping is probably going to be iffy unless I can find something for us all. Additionally, groups can divide how they like, but I would imagine we are looking at 3 groups of 6 rigs. I leave it to the groups that have already put their names on the list to decide if they have room for more on the trail.

On this trip I'll be on 4 wheels, but later in the year that might sound like a cool plan. What sort of skill level would be suitable? I know there's about 3 of us that might be curious, with skills ranging from beginner to advanced.
