The last time I looked up the Washington law it only applied to passenger vehicles (which say "PASS" on their registration). My Tacoma says "TRUCK" on it's registration, I haven't determined exactly what that means other than the license costs more because of the gross weight fee. My previous trucks were all commercial ("COMM" on the registration) so the tinting law didn't apply to them. I don't like dark windows so I never tested it. Don't count on law enforcement understanding all this.

Its 25 on front no max on rear. 50 on windshield with prescription.

Its actually 24 but I wouldn't mess with anything less than 25 if you don't want a ticket. With that said though I see limo tinted civics and jalopies all the time.

Can't tint windshield in Texas so I have 5% eyebrow, 15% on fronts and 2.8% on rears. Helps with summer heat and from seeing in easily. I had the front 2 windows at 5% a while back and removed it after a week, could see shit at night lol

My tint... Well, I supposedly can get an "exemption" from my doc saying I need it due to the fact that I'm a pasty freckled ginger but honestly if a cop pulls me over I'm getting a ticket.

5% all the way around. :anonymous:

Question @Rattletrap66 , for the 16" wheels, the -25mm offset with 3.5" bs would stick out further than the 0mm offset with 4.5" bs? Also they appear to be out of stock at the moment for the 16x8 6x139.7 gun metal :(IMG_1095.jpg

Do it! I ditched my MK6's for some SR8's (and bigger tires) and was sooo happy with it.

Yes, the ones with 3.5" BS will stick out 1" farther than the ones with 4.5"BS.

    Too much to list!
Yes, Washington says 24%, but not many tint manufactures make that shade. Most you may find have 35% then next darker is 20%. I have seen some 25%, but not often.

That does look really good @EatSleepTacos, are your sr8s 16" or 17"? Also on the sr8 is the faux beadlock ring removable with a few bolts or is it part of the wheel??

They're 16's. I went from 17" MK6's with 265/70r17 to 285/75r16s with the SR8's. Gave me a much beefier look with all the extra sidewall.

Just edited my previous post but is the faux beadlock ring made to the sr8 or is it removeable like some wheels? @EatSleepTacos
