    I agree w/ you! It did work for me. I still shrug 2 coors light 30 packs every time I walk by the beer section in the grocery store.

    I prefer dumbbell shrugs just because it's more natural for me to hold the weight off to my sides opposed to in front of me, as is done with bb shrugs. I guess it's a balance thing.

    My typical shoulder workout consists of:

    an up and down movement: seated or standing military press with dumbbells or barbell or a machine overhead press
    an outward movement: side dumbbell raises or cable raises
    a frontward movement: front dumbbell raises or front raises with a 45 lb weight
    a rear shoulder movement: bent over dumbbell raises, reverse pec dec flies, bent over cable raises
    a trap movement: dumbbell or barbell shrugs, cable rope upright row, barbell or dumbbell upright row, farmers walk

    So, that's 5 exercises that hit every part of the shoulder. I usually do 3-5 sets of anywhere from 5 to 15 reps with about a minute break in between.

    Got a new pr on squats last night since surgery. Got 315x3. I can say that I feel my shoulder mobility is about 95% at this point. Which my surgeon orginallh said that if I got to 95% I would be doing great but not to expect anything over that because of how they had to re attach it

    So that puts my lifts at

    315b( I've attempted higher on bench but it was too ugly to count)

    Yup. I squat a lot more often than I used to. I high bar since I can't low bar, but at least I can do 225 for 5. I could probably do maybe 275ish if I tried but I haven't tried to max out or do higher reps yet.

    Legs are more defined too!
