I can't find an answer to these couple things anywhere and thought maybe you guys would know. 2017 Tacoma with JBL and push button start. Why is there a door chime non stop when I get to where I am going push the button to turn off the truck then open the door? I didn't see any warning lights just the beeping.

Also, drive info on the multi display between the gauges. There is drive info in 2 or 3 of the screens as you scroll through them but the last one is blank. Is there a way to add info to it or just delete the blank screen?

Sorry if these are dumb questions but any guidance is appreciated.

    Thanks!

The blank is intentional for those who don't want any info.

The beeping??? Are your lights on? Are you sure the truck is off and not in accessory mode?

Thank you. 99% sure it's user error. Only driven about 20 miles in since I bought it.

The push button can take some getting used to if this is your first vehicle with it.

Center console divider thingy, rubber bed mat and side steps for the wife.
The beeping is the fob sensing something it doesn't like.. One reason is if it is not in park and you get out of the truck or try to lock it, in accy or run when you leave the truck.. could be anything..

This screen may be the one that only shows information when the vehicle is stopped.

Make sure you put it in Park (if you have AT) before you shut off the engine and open the door.

You are probably hitting the button right after opening the door and it will beep until the door closes, very annoying and no way to disable with the driver door (you can disable this with the passenger doors in the menu).

4 months later I'm still doing it.

Wait until you get out and try to lock your doors with the fob still inside
