What was the weird shifting? My truck was built the end of March and I have had it about two weeks. Would mine already have the latest software?

I have the same problem and so does my neighbor. Did you just take the truck in to the dealer and report the problem?

Most likely not. I'm a Toyota dealer and for some unknown reason our 17's are still coming without the flash. Mines due to arrive in a couple of weeks and it'll definitely get zapped.

Can you post a couple more pics of the 12v outlets in the bed storage box. The pics were too close up to see what you did. Thanks

This is very interesting . I wonder if the trans is made to center of the tolerance for the specs , the flash is not needed . Toyota may only want the flash on transmissions that have problems because of a shotty production problems.
Edit , maybe toyota cannot put a permanent fix on all new production without retesting for the EPA /Cafe . So they fix the trucks owners complain about ?

Check out the CaliRaised Apex thread in the group buy forum. There is a few videos on where to plug the add-a-fuse into. I want to say it's the 10A one on the top right that you are supposed to use. That is the brake lights fuse that when headlights are on, brake lights are on (aka, with the add-a-fuse, when headlights are on, switch is illuminated).

I see what everyone else is saying to tap in to the switch next to it. But this is a much less invasive way to do it, especially if you already have the add-a-fuse.

Trying to learn how to use nav system. Never had or used one before. Is the Scout GPS app needed for this and the multi display compass to work correctly. I don't really use apps much either.
My display compass just spins and no info since day 1. Cant even use my apps on entune. Yes i have an account. Just always says cannot connect...any help would be appreciated :pout:Thanks

Had a busy weekend filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly.
    The Good:
    1) completed first oil change
    2) completed TSB 0053-16
    3) completed TSB 0103-16 Rev 2

    The Bad:
Had my first cracked windshield from a rock shot at me

    The Ugly:
Had my first minor accident by backing into another car. All he had was a minor ding and all I had was a broken parking sensor. I know, I know, I should have had it turned on. I was stupid. I ordered the part and plan on replacing it for half of what the dealer wanted. I found the write up on removing the rear bumper from Ft Apache and Pistol Pete but there is also a you tube that shows just taking off the bumper end cap without taking off the entire bumper. Unfortunately, he did not show how to get to the 2 pins on the side. Anyone know how to do that?

The first picture shows the plugs put in for the first TSB and the second picture shows the empty hole where the parking sensor should be.

Tepui goes on as soon as I can get the manpower to lift this beast. REI sale had it for 20% off and no shipping if shipped to the store.

Installed the voodoo tonneau rack as well.
