Oh OK, I was about to start googleing "taco worm". By the way they do exist (maguey worm) and are eaten in the central part of Mexico although they are not very popular.

Tequila does not have a worm but some mescales do. I have eaten the mescal worms, they taste like Mescal.

about tequila, if you drink anything that is 100% from Agave and you do not mix it with sugar, you will not have a hang over. 1800 is cheap and good, Jose Cuervo Joven sucks balls. I know alot about tequila so if you have a question let me know.

Good to know. I do know Mescal is an acquired taste though...

    KOs 285,
Mescal is an acquire taste. It comes from a similar plant (maguey) as tequila but from Southern Mexico and has a more smoky taste or as my non mexica friends tell me "it takes like diesel or mud".

With tequila, the industry is more standardized and there is not as much variation between blancos, reposados, and anejos. But with Mescal, you get it all over the spectrum. Now if you like the smokiness of the Mescal, I can recommend a couple.

    KOs 285,
Here is a real story - it happen to me several years back.

We had a new consultant that I met earlier in the day around lunch time. She is Korean (tall) her weight was maybe 120-130 pounds. We told her that we were going out for drinks later in the day (after 6 PM) it was Friday. We were not expecting her but she showed up. I was drinking my usual tequila (sipping tequila 1800 reposado) and a beer (fat tire). She came into the bar and looked at me and told me I was a bitch. I was surprise cause I had just met her that day. She took my tequila and downed it. I told her that it was sipping tequila and she replied that I was being a bitch cause tequila is meant to be downed. She said that is how tequila is drank in Korea (what ever that meant). She told me that she could out drink me (a 220 pound mexican professional tequila drinker) I said no thank you. In any case, she continue to order drinks for every shot I ordered. around 10 PM she went outside and passed out. We called 911, the firedept showed up and took her to the hospital. We also called her husband to come pick up her car. I dont do drinking contests cause I really do not have anything to prove. I drink for my enjoyment and no one elses. know your limits and everyone will like you (me) for it.
