I am sorry I missed understood the question. I am no longer active or inactive military. I ended my active enlistment sometime ago. Not sure what this president is going to do but my heart is with those that will take on the job of supporting his decisions. They need and deserve all of our support regardless of opinions.

I have a nefew who is Air Force but sees no action, not that that is a bad thing. Everything he does is classified but I'm pretty sure he's is flying drones from a safe place and blowing shit up.

I was Air Force. I got to see how our Army brothers were treated in Saudi and I am so glad I was in the Air Force. I have many friends that are Marines and I like how they still keep in touch.

I am pretty sure your nephew is doing exiting things serving his country.

He's safe in the states. Graduated top of his class and will stay here. I honestly have no idea what he actually does.

I will say we had an Altima that we got a buy 2 get 2 but had to buy the warranty. 6 months later the car was hit a culvert on the highway when avoiding a kid on the cell came over. Anyway, cost nothing to have 2 new tires put on after one blew and the other had a bulge. Did a check of the alignment and good to go for free. Before that we would get a nail every so often and only two other blowouts in the last few decades in our family but it came in handy instead of having to shell out $350ish.

The 'warranty' from Discount Tire covers road hazard, not just defect in the tire. I personally don't buy it when I get tires because I'm cheap and don't really plan for the worst. I've had a couple tires that were beyond repair due to road damage, one from a file and one from a CO2 canister, no idea how I managed to get both of these things into my tires but it happened. In both cases I went to Discount to get a replacement and they were able to sell me the warranty for all 4 which was less than the cost of a new tire. Both instances the tires were probably 1-2 years old. Not sure I'd they can still do this but it's worth asking if you're in the situation.

I rarely buy warranties. The way I look at it, if something happens, you could use that $130 you saved from warranty money to buy the next tire(s) you need. If nothing happens you saved yourself $130. Same with technology.
