Looking for info. On a power antenna for my 03 Tacoma. I need to replace original antenna, hits the garage door opening, can't find one for this truck anywhere. Everyone has it for the 2000 not the 03

Has anyone installed a power antenna on a 2003 Taco?

    Any input would help...:)

what about a shorty antenna instead?? guaranteed to be alot cheaper than a power antenna setup.

You can try differance Stareo shops and see if they sell a kit.
Then look for it on E-bay.

Of move the Antena all togther.

hey Tigerfan yea I tried that but the parts guy at my local Toy dealer told me it would not fit. I have to check into that alittle more. I went to a few radio/stereo shops and they don't have anything to offer. e-bay is the same so far.

hmm...you oughta look just to make sure...a lot of the front end stuff on my brothers 98 4r and my 02 tacoma are similar or the same...i dont quite see why it wouldnt fit though...antennas are in the same place and theres nothing behind the fender sheet metal where the motor mounts...

    issue would be wiring tho

I honestly dont think there is enough room inside our fender for a motor setup:( too much of a dropoff.

IIRC the motor is flat and similar in size and shape to a hard drive

search on yotatech on the exact way to access the area...but you should just be able to pull the fender lining out without even taking the tire off
