Convinced friend to get a Tacoma

    So Friday one of my good friends has been complaining about a 300 fuel bill every 2 weeks, he drove a 96 Chevy z71. Well I told him he should sell it and get a Tacoma like mine, I figured hed say naw I gotta have the room and power but he didnt. So I put his truck on Craigslist Sat and he sells it Sun, looked around all weekend for him a Tacoma and man are they hard to find. Any way ended up finding a few and he called and finally talked to someone with a good deal. He ended up buying it last night its a 1996 Tacoma Extra cab LX, V6, 5 speed, red. It was very well kept and runs and drives great, he drove it home 3 hours away and couldnt believe he didnt have to stop for gas lol! Any way one more that got smart and bought a Tacoma....

    Yeah I know how that gas bill is with those z71s. I had 25 dollars a day to go to school and work. With my tacoma its 20 dollars every 3 or 4 days :D

    LOl when you're used to shitty mpg anything surprises you. Its like a whoa there are actually vehicles that can do the same thing as my 5.7 V8 and get decent fuel mileage kind of moment! I know from experience. :D
